We often hear what a difference training makes in a centre or in a students personal life. We would like to capture these important stories for our website and invite potential students to have a go, shine and improve quality on session for their children like you did. Self review is an amazing reflective tool designed to improve outcomes for children on session. We have organised a workshop on Thursday 25th February 7.30-9.30pm at CPA offices to assist your centre into making this a fun, meaningful experience. Register now on our website.
We have two vacancies at Playcentre. One job as a Property Project Coordinator to help us manage all the building projects; and a Communications Officer to help us to write stories about Playcentre and their whānaua. You can see more information about both jobs here.
Course 4, Course 3 and one Course 2 block workshops are now open for bookings. You can register for these workshops on our website.
Education programmes will be posted on the Canterbury Education Facebook page as soon as they are finalised. Please share these posts on your centre Facebook page. We want to see many centres take on training this year!
This free event encourages many families and friends to take time out together and have some FUN. The event will offer a range of stalls and activities and entertainers for children and their families to enjoy. Please bring your own drink bottles as there is limited access to water facilities.
Redwood Playcentre is opening their new fort area on Monday 7 March at 4.30pm at 40 Dunedin Street, Redwood. Come and join the celebrations followed by a potluck BBQ dinner (meat provided). All welcome!
Kidsfest 2016 is celebrating 25 years of inspiring, educating and igniting the creative spark in young people. Kidsfest is a great way to raise your centre's community profile, promote your centre and attract new members.

- Fire drills in Week 4 - These are to be completed the week of the 22nd to 26th February. Please put reminders up at your centre to hold these on each session of that week at 10am.
