Looking ahead to Guy Fawkes and summer barbecues, parents with young children are alert to the dangers that fire presents. The idea of preschoolers 'playing with fire' is alarming, indeed disturbing. However, two sessions held recently at Redwood Playcentre have been about kindling kids’ natural curiosity about fire, igniting their imaginations – and teaching them about being safe. It's AGM time!
The AGM is arranged for Tuesday 29 November 7.30 at Hagley College cafeteria.
Arrive early at 7pm for a cuppa and a yarn. The theme is 'Take a walk on the wild side'. Let's dress up and have some fun. There will be prize for the most creative wildest bunch!

Thursday morning 17th November. Learn to weave with harakeke under expert guidance of Toni Rowe.
We often use Sharon Holt's Te Reo sing-a-long resources in our workshops. The catchy tunes are popular with tamariki and parents. Sharon is going to host 4 short workshops for us.
