Term 4 Weeks 5 - 10

Cool stories

This term we farewelled Kate Barber as our Playcentre storyteller and welcomed Frances Martin as the new storyteller. Here is a linttle introduction from Frances

My Playcentre journey began in the 1980s when I attended Ashridge Road Playcentre in Napier. More recently I have a background in secondary education but it's learning, in all its forms, that continues to excite me. My son, Elliott, is almost two. Having him in my life has definitely been the most enjoyable and rewarding learning experience of my life so far. Elliott and I joined the Landsdowne Terrace Playcentre community in May and have been pleased to find that it's a wonderful addition to our learning journey. I am looking forward to hearing about and sharing your learning stories as the Storyteller for the Canterbury Playcentre Association.

Thanks again,Frances

If you have a story to tell email Frances at stories@canplay.org.nz

We would also love to post your stories on our website. So please email your stories to office@canplay.org.nz and we will get it onto our website.
