This term we farewelled Kate Barber as our Playcentre storyteller and welcomed Frances Martin as the new storyteller. Here is a linttle introduction from Frances
My Playcentre journey began in the 1980s when I attended Ashridge Road Playcentre in Napier. More recently I have a background in secondary education but it's learning, in all its forms, that continues to excite me. My son, Elliott, is almost two. Having him in my life has definitely been the most enjoyable and rewarding learning experience of my life so far. Elliott and I joined the Landsdowne Terrace Playcentre community in May and have been pleased to find that it's a wonderful addition to our learning journey. I am looking forward to hearing about and sharing your learning stories as the Storyteller for the Canterbury Playcentre Association.
Click here to read Frances' first story. It's a story about how our Kaikoura whānau make things work after the earthquake.
If you have a story to tell email Frances at firstname.lastname@example.org
We would also love to post your stories on our website. So please email your stories to email@example.com and we will get it onto our website.
It's that time of the year when we review and plan for the next year. We would like to get your feedback about how we can improve communication. If you have a moment please complete this survey about communication.

Basecamp can also be used as a self review tool. We would like to offer Basecamp access to any centres that would like to use it for communication, self review or another purpose. If you are interested in trialing it email firstname.lastname@example.org
