COGS

COGS – Community Organisation Grants Scheme

These grants support organisation running costs, projects and events. There are 37 local COGS committees, making grant decisions based on locally determined outcomes. The people serving on COGS committees are elected volunteers.

Applications open 12 April 2017 and close 24 May 2017

Decisions will be made 28 July 2017

All applications must be made online.

Each Playcentre needs to apply individually with their own or an individual’s login.

The average amount granted is around $3500.

The applications need to be supported with a copy of the operating budget or if applying for a project, then that projects budget.

This year’s applications will be more successful if we can show/explain how the funds will benefit community through the locally determined outcomes which are:

  • People are connected, contributing and participating in their communities
  • People can access the appropriate services to lead healthier, happier, more sustainable lives
  • Safer, stronger, resilient communities are created through building capacity and growing collaboration

Think about what your centre requires and tailor the application to fit with the above criteria. Successful applications will require a report to be submitted to show outcomes,
