If you would like to grow your centre rolls talk to these centres to learn how they have achieved these great results.
Term 1 has been busy with several successful C2 blocks held at vairous centres. Well done to all those who have attended and completed.
Term 2 will be just as busy - check out the website now to find out where you can book to attend and complete the course next term. Lots of positive feedback from those who have already done so - here's what they say...
...C2 has massively chaneged how I see myself on session in the educational role. I respond to my kids differently - I am more gentle, more understanding and more resourceful.
...I would strongly recommend all Playcentre parents complete course 2.
...I've already noticed that small changes we make have a huge impact on the way our children learn.
Don't forget it's time to be thinking about applying for grants for your centres.
COGS funding opens 12 April and closes 24 May 2017. Each centre must apply online in their own right. Follow the link below to make your centres application. If you need any advice please call Debbie at CPA.
Rata Fountation grants will need to be applied for in term 2 2017. This funder requires CPA to collate all individual Playcentres requests into one application. Add this to the agenda for the next centre meeting - dicsuss what you would like to apply for, make a minute resoultion, get quotes and please have all this information to Jessamy or Debbie at CPA by 31 May 2017.
This may be the last opportunity for CPA to apply to this organisation as once the almagamation takes place we will be a national organisation and that changes which funders we are eligible to apply to. Think Big!! Please check here for futher information as to what type of resources have been more successfully funded in the past

- Term 4 - starts 16th October, ends no later than 20th December.
The Association staff are currently undertaking an internal evaluation into how effectively we are supporting our Playcentres as whanau led services.
We have prepared a survey to gather information to support our review.
Please could you complete this via the link below to let us know how you see this at your Playcentre. Your support would be much appreciated.
or send in your data to email@example.com
We are currently reviewing our sleeping arrangements policy and would love your feedback on this. Please click the link below to view. You can send any comments or feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org
This form has been updated. Page one is for new coordinators, page two is for licence changes. Please use the new form when making changes.
Paying it forward in our community is a wonderful thing to do .For the past three terms we have had a small group of families visiting Essie Summers rest home in Columbo St. This is meaningful for both the residents at the home and the children and whanau who attend. We spend just 45 minutes on a Wednesday morning from 10.45 till 11.30 putting a smile on some of our senior citizens faces. The activities co ordinator has toys available and we have some lovely interactions. We would love some more families to join us so if you are interested in making someones day please contact Anna Steel – email@example.com for more details.
Library Resource : Picture Book in Te Reo Maori
'Te Kiore i roto i Te Whare' / (The Mouse in the House)
Trish Gray has written a new children's picture book in Te Reo Maori. This is an enchanting story about a family trying to catch a mouse in their house, look for the unexpected ending! Although written in Te Reo Maori an English translation has been added and this is a great way for children to learn a few words in NZ's other official language. A glossary has been included to help with understanding some words.
The book is landscape with saddle stitching and is colourfully illustrated.
20 pages at a cost of $20 and is suitable for 3-5 year olds.
Please contact Trish by email if your centre is interested - firstname.lastname@example.org
it is time to complete the maintenance pool check - please see the attached form (a hard copy will be in your centres mail)
Please return these to Kirsty by the 27th May. If you have any questions please contact me email@example.com
Maintenance Pool Criteria
This has been updated (same intent, simplified) and a copy will be sent out in the next mail round or talk to your CST.
