All Things Education

This term we have rolled out Course 2 blocks in the following centres: Somerfield, Oxford, West Melton, Spencerville and St Albans. Each block has still some places left. If you want to join, secure yourself a place by booking here on our website. Watch our Canterbury Playcentre Education Facebook page.

So far this year we facilitated 10 Course 2 blocks. It is quite important for parents to keep training for themselves, meet other like minded people, learn and deliver quality Playcentre sessions. If you are keen to continue your training but have not quite completed Course 2 contact Alex Ireland to discuss your options to carry on with Course 3. Book your place in the Course 3 programme here:

One off Workshop Opportunity

Myths and Magic of Reggio Emilia.

One of our life members, Lia de Vocht, recently traveled to Reggio Emilia as part of an in-depth study group. The focus was pedagogical documentation. Lia was offered a wealth of information: she observed teachers at work and how they plan and document for children. At this workshop Lia will share what she learned, what was affirmed and what surprised her. This is a must attend workshop for anyone interested in supporting our older tamariki on session.
